ITIN Application Assistance

Helping Foreign Applicants Apply for an ITIN

Okeybooks helps nonresidents, foreign property owners, investors, spouses, and dependents prepare Form W-7 and understand the tax-related requirements for requesting an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number from the IRS.

ITIN Support for Foreign Individuals

An ITIN is used for U.S. federal tax purposes when an individual is not eligible for a Social Security Number but still needs a taxpayer identification number.

Our role is to help applicants understand whether they may qualify, prepare the required application, organize supporting documents, and coordinate the ITIN request with a tax filing or IRS exception when applicable.

Nonresidents

Assistance for foreign individuals who need to file a U.S. tax return or report U.S. source income.

Foreign Property Owners

Support for applicants with U.S. rental income, real estate reporting, or withholding requirements.

Spouses & Dependents

ITIN application assistance for individuals included on a U.S. tax return when eligible.

ITIN Applications Must Have a Valid Tax Purpose

An ITIN is not requested simply for general banking, lending, or personal convenience. The applicant must have a valid U.S. federal tax reason or qualify under an IRS exception.

Before preparing the application, Okeybooks reviews the facts to determine whether the ITIN request has a valid basis.

Simple ITIN Assistance Pricing

Our base service covers the preparation and guidance related to the ITIN application. Tax return preparation, shipping, courier services, certified copies, translations, and third-party costs are billed separately when applicable.

Okeybooks can coordinate the application process remotely by email, secure document upload, and courier instructions when needed.

Important Document Notice

The IRS requires applicants to provide documents proving identity and foreign status. Applicants may need to submit original documents, certified copies from the issuing agency, or use another IRS-authorized option.

Okeybooks currently provides ITIN application preparation assistance. We are also working toward expanding this service through the IRS Acceptance Agent / Certifying Acceptance Agent program.

Until that approval is completed, Okeybooks does not certify identity documents as an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent.
