Payroll schedules, employee profiles, tax settings, bank authorization, and a review of existing payroll information.
Hours, wages, overtime, deductions, reimbursements, payroll review, and timely processing.
Direct deposit and paper paycheck preparation. Physical check printing, envelopes, postage, and mailing or delivery services are available for an additional fee.
Oversight of federal and applicable state payroll tax deposits, quarterly returns, and unemployment reporting.
Employee W-2s and related year-end payroll filings; contractor 1099 services can be added when needed.
Routine employee changes, payroll questions, standard adjustments, and reports for your existing accountant.

About pricing: These are starting prices, not fixed quotes. Final fees reflect headcount, pay frequency, payment methods, benefits, deductions, and administrative workload. Payroll software, check supplies, postage, and third-party costs may be separate unless included in your written proposal. The employer funds wages and taxes, provides approved hours, and authorizes payments. A one-time payroll onboarding fee may apply. *Additional-state pricing applies to managed payroll only, when ongoing payroll tax administration is required.
A simple process
A clear handoff lets us handle the recurring payroll work while you retain control over your business.
We review headcount, payroll frequency, payment methods, current provider, and filing requirements.
We establish access, verify employee and tax records, and agree on deadlines and approvals.
You provide approved hours and changes before each pay date. We take it from there.
We process payroll, oversee filings, answer routine questions, and provide accountant-ready reports.
Common questions
We believe payroll should be managed carefully, with a clear understanding of who handles what.
Not necessarily. If your accountant uses QuickBooks for bookkeeping, they can continue doing so. We will review your payroll setup and coordinate the payroll records and reports needed for accurate books.
Yes. We can prepare check information and support printed paycheck workflows. Physical printing, check stock, mailing, pickup, or delivery arrangements are confirmed in your proposal.
Standard payroll tax administration and year-end W-2 processing are included in managed payroll plans, subject to your agreed scope and payroll platform capabilities. Employers remain responsible for accurate information, approvals, and sufficient funds.
Provide accurate, approved hours and employee updates on time, maintain payroll funding, and provide any legally required authorizations. We handle the ongoing processing and coordination described in your service agreement.
One state is included with managed payroll. Each additional state requiring recurring payroll tax administration costs $45/month. New-state setup, local tax requirements, complex filings, and catch-up work are separately quoted. The state where an employee lives does not necessarily create additional payroll filings.
Yes, contractor payment coordination and year-end 1099 services can be added to your proposal. Pricing depends on transaction volume and filing needs.
