These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://okeybooks.com and any related services offered by Okeybooks, LLC (“Okeybooks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our site or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Okeybooks provides professional bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax-related administrative services. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal services. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
Bookkeeping and reconciliation
Payroll setup and processing
Tax preparation and filing
Business advisory and consulting
Registered agent or business formation assistance
All engagements are governed by separate service agreements or engagement letters outlining specific scope, pricing, and terms.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to perform services. Okeybooks is not responsible for delays or errors caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or late submissions.
You agree to maintain all usernames, passwords, and secure access credentials for your financial platforms, and to grant Okeybooks appropriate access solely for service delivery.
Okeybooks follows the ethical and confidentiality standards applicable to professional bookkeepers and tax preparers. However, Okeybooks is not a CPA firm and does not perform audits, reviews, or attest services.
We may, at our discretion, refer clients to third-party CPAs, tax professionals, or attorneys for specialized needs.
Fees are billed according to the plan or engagement agreed upon in writing. Payments are due according to the invoice terms.
Recurring services (e.g., monthly bookkeeping or payroll) renew automatically unless cancelled in writing with at least 30 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services.
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information, financial data, and personal identifiers. We do not share, sell, or disclose any data except as required by law or authorized by the client.
Electronic records are stored securely and transmitted via encrypted platforms where possible.
Okeybooks’ liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the total amount paid for such services during the six (6) months preceding the claim.
Okeybooks is not liable for:
Errors resulting from client-provided data
Third-party system outages (e.g., Quickbooks, Gusto, IRS)
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
All content provided on our website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, accounting, or tax advice. You should consult a licensed CPA or tax attorney for specific guidance.
Use of Okeybooks’ services does not create a CPA-client or attorney-client relationship.
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. Upon termination, all outstanding balances must be paid in full before releasing records or reports.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
